You’ve got
the show
We’ve got the strategy to put it where it belongs
THIS ISN’T QUITE READY, BUT JOIN THE WAITLIST
POPP Louder gives ambitious artists and organisations the strategy behind every show we produce — market development, presenter targeting, writing that actually gets read — so work that's already proven itself can land where it deserves to be next, whether that's Lincoln Center, an international tour, or finally landing the commission that's been sitting just out of reach.
Your own pace.
Real access.
Your specific project.
Our proven strategy.
Are you one of these two?
THE SELF-PRODUCING ARTIST
You've made work, toured it domestically, maybe hit a festival or two. You know your art inside out. What you need now is the producing strategy to take it international, secure different venues, or navigate a major festival season without losing your mind or your money.
You're experienced enough to execute, but you need someone who's done this a hundred times to tell you exactly what to do next.
THE ORGANISATION WITH WORK TO RESOURCE
You're a small-to-medium arts organisation, venue, or festival. You've got ambitious work on your slate—a commission, a co-production, an international tour—but your team needs the producing expertise to actually make it happen.
You don't need another consultant telling you what's possible. You need someone who'll show you exactly how to do it, step by step, so your team levels up in the process.
“My performance company would not be where it is today without pivotal guidance from Lauren during a critical point in my first year as a Director in the Arts and Entertainment sector. Upon premiering my first full length show, my company generated fast momentum which came along with big questions that I didn’t yet have the answers to. By connecting with Lauren, my company was empowered to continue blazing an exciting path with reputable knowledge and reliable, ongoing support.
Lauren upholds a unique combination of rich industry knowledge, deep compassion for artists and outstanding support of the performance industry as a whole. It is rare to find industry professionals with such a beautiful blend of empathy and knowledge, which are qualities I always experience at their utmost when connecting with Lauren.”

WHAT’S INSIDE
Four modules. Big expertise. Your specific project. Our proven strategy.
STRATEGY
The roadmap we build behind every show we produce. Market development, presenter targeting, the pathway from where the work sits now to where it deserves to be.
WRITING PRESENTER INFO
The document that makes a presenter feel like you understand their programming, not just your own show. We've written the ones that got Lincoln Center and Manchester International Festival to say yes.
REPLY
Silence from a presenter is a stage of the process, not a verdict. What to send, when, and how a maybe stays alive without you ever having to chase.
ROADBLOCKS
Budgets that don't stack up. Venues that pull out. Partners who go cold. The same problem-solving we've used when the crisis was ours — including, once, an actual hurricane bearing down on the venue.
How it works
FORMAT — Four self-paced modules, online. Each one built around a prerecorded presentation plus supporting resources — the tools to actually put it into practice, not just watch it.
LIVE Q&A — A 60-minute live Q&A with Lauren, every two months. Bring the specific problem your project's stuck on.
ACCESS — Twelve months. Full access to the course, the resource library, and every live Q&A session across the year.
INVESTMENT — $1,998 + GST, one-off payment.
WHY THIS WORKS
We exist in the badlands beyond genre.
Fifteen years producing the impossible — negotiated directly with Disney USA when Australia said no, activated air space above the Sydney Harbour Bridge for 50,000 people, rebuilt a season out of hurricane wreckage. Sydney Opera House calls us first when they want to do something nobody else will attempt. We put first money in when other producers wait for a committee to agree it's safe.
That's not a sales pitch for this program. It's the reason the strategy inside it works.
"La Jolla Playhouse has worked with Parrot Ox on two projects this year (The Unfair Advantage and Burnout Paradise). Both were artistically and critically successful thanks in large part to the guidance and leadership of the Parrot Ox team. They are collaborative, resourceful, responsive and a joy to work with. They understand practical challenges like space limitations and resource constraints and worked alongside us to problem solve. I would excitedly work with them again!"

Frequently asked questions
-
Just sign up. This isn't application-gated — if the work exists and you're ready to put the strategy into practice, it's yours.
-
This is built around work that already exists — something made, and ideally already in front of an audience. If yours is still taking shape, save this for when it is. The strategy only makes sense once there's a show to apply it to.
-
No. We work across every genre — theatre, dance, interdisciplinary, music theatre. We exist in the badlands beyond genre. If it's bold and makes people feel something, this applies to it.
-
No. Producers and organisations from anywhere are welcome. Presenter strategy doesn't stop at a border, and neither does this.
-
Sixty minutes, live, every two months, with Lauren. Bring your presenter info doc, your budget, your stuck point — it's working time on your actual project, not a general Q&A.
-
A producer relationship can run a year or more before you're even in a season together, on top of fees and commission. This gives you the same strategic thinking behind every show we produce — for a fraction of the cost, with direct access to ask about your specific project every two months for a year.
