Made in collaboration with maths teacher and Turkish refugee Bilge Aslan, this work for teenagers and family audiences combines the real-life experiences of girls worldwide who’ve been denied an education with the story of Ada Lovelace, who laid the groundwork for the world’s first computer. It’s a hopeful, inspiring adventure told through the magical realism Lemony S Puppet Theatre is known for — exploring how far we’ve come on girls’ education rights, how far there is to go, and what happens when young women are given room to reach their potential.
