Developed with astrophysicists Dr Rosemary Mardling and Dr Alex Wallace (Monash University School of Physics and Astronomy) and commissioned by Monash University Performing Arts Centres with Geelong Arts Centre, Little Blue Dot marries accurate science with a deeply human story of childhood curiosity, parental love and the uncertainty of life. Rare puppetry techniques — corridor of light and blacklight — bring the science to life for school and general audiences alike.
